Meet Our Investment Professionals

Michael D’Aloia is President and Principal Owner of RMS Elite Properties. Prior to founding RMS, Michael was V.P. of the Private Client Group at Janney Montgomery Scott and UBS Paine Webber, and served as V.P. and Director of Institutional Equity Sales and Trading at Tradition-Asiel, the third largest Interdealer Broker in the world. Mr. D’Aloia has been a resident of the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area since 1988 and has invested extensively in the area’s residential real estate market. Mr. D’Aloia also owned and operated CAD Construction, LLC, a St. Petersburg contracting firm specializing in refurbishing residential properties. Mr. D’Aloia currently sits on the President’s Board of his alma mater, St. Leo University, and brings more than 20 years of investment experience to RMS.

Matt Brown is a Director of Investment for RMS Elite Properties. Most recently (2012-2016), Matt was Managing Director and Head of Trading at Union Gaming Securities. He was responsible for the global build out of research, sales and trading along with Investment Banking and private placement deals. Prior to Union Gaming Securities, (2010-2012) he was responsible for coverage of top tier institutional clients during Susquehanna International Group’s expansion into the cash equities business. On the SIG platform he gained in depth knowledge and extensive expertise, working in conjunction with volatility, options, swaps, futures, proprietary and equity derivatives trading desks. Earlier in his career he spent many years on the NYSE trading floor. Kellogg Partners hired Brown (2004-2010) to be an instrumental part of the firm’s architecture of institutional trading and NYSE direct access operations. Before that he worked as an Equity Trader for both Princeton Securities Group and Bear Stearns (1999-2004). With over 17+ years experience trading and building out independent broker dealers, he can speak to market strategies and drivers of business from both the buy and sell side which makes him an incredibly valuable asset to the RMS Investment team.
