Dottie began her career in Rochester, NY in 1970 with Nothnagle Realtors, an outstanding company that was the founder of the first national franchised real estate organization in the United States. She was 28. Her clients were mostly first time buyers and she realized at a young age that she was involved in one of their biggest dreams! These clients became 2nd and 3rd time sellers and buyers until she moved to Florida in 1988. Dottie acquired her Florida real estate license and joined Watson Real Estate in Clearwater in 1990, specializing in sales. She soon learned that her friends and neighbors from the north wanted a slice of the Florida sunshine, much as she did. After speaking briefly with them, she learned that most of them had no idea where they wanted to live or if they wanted a condo or a single family home so she suggested that they rent for awhile so they could determine where their lifestyle would take them. She found out that there was only one real estate company in Clearwater that did rentals and I’ve specialized in rentals ever since! She is now 74, enjoying Emeritus status with the Pinellas Realtor Organization doing something that she loves for over 45 years.
“RMS Elite Properties, their staff and agents represent everything that is excellent in real estate. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the “family”. My first broker told me that Real Estate agents never retire…they just become listless! It has never been a job to me so really I’ve never worked a day in my life. I hope to continue what i’m doing until I drop over!”
